Aperol, the Italian bitter apéritif owned by Campari Group, expanded into the ready-to-serve cocktail segment in March 2025 with the UK launch of Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve — a pre-mixed version of its iconic cocktail sold in packs of four 200ml bottles. Each bottle contains the brand's original recipe: citrus-infused bitter liqueur, sparkling wine, and soda — pre-mixed to the proportions Aperol specifies for the classic serve.
The move positions Aperol within the growing ready-to-drink cocktail category, where convenience and consistent serve quality are primary drivers of purchase. Rather than a reformulation, the Ready to Serve line extends an existing recipe into a new format — transferring the trusted Aperol Spritz ritual from the bar counter to the supermarket shelf without altering the underlying product.
